Mr HART (Burleigh—LNP) (4.16 pm): I rise today to speak in support of the Criminal Law Amendment Bill 2012, introduced by the Attorney-General and Minister for Justice, the honourable member for Kawana, on 20 June this year. This bill seeks to amend the Criminal Code, the Corrective Services Act 2006, the Criminal Law Amendment Act 1945, the Penalties and Sentences Act 1992, the Police Powers and Responsibilities Act 2000 and the Youth Justice Act 1992.
