On the 23rd of October, along with the Hon Jann Stuckey MP, Minister for Tourism, Major Events, Small Business and the Commonwealth Games, I visited the Petrie Boral Quarry Site.
The Tallebudgera Creek Boardwalk was officially reopened on Monday 15 October 2012.
After both sections of the track system were closed in 2008 due to the boardwalk and bridges rotting and corroding, Minister for National Parks, Recreation, Sport and Racing, Steve Dickson said the rejuvenated walking track system has design features that will minimise future need for maintenance.
