Burleigh Head Ocean View Walking Track Closed to Public
Overnight a rockslide occurred at the popular Burleigh Head Ocean View Walking Track.
Member for Burleigh Michael Hart MP has discussed the damage that occurred with Queensland National Parks and they have advised that they will be assessing the track over the next few days.
“The track is one of the most utilized in our State and I will be working hard along with Queensland National Parks to have the track reopened as soon as safely possible,” Mr Hart said.
“Queensland National Parks have requested visitors to use the alternate Rainforest Circuit until such time as the Ocean View Walking Track is deemed safe,” he said.
