Hart Urges Burleigh Residents to Join the Drive

Member for Burleigh Michael Hart MP is urging Burleigh residents to Join the Drive with the Government’s new road safety campaign team visiting the area today.

“The Join the Drive team will be travelling around the state interviewing everyday Queenslanders about how we as individuals can improve road safety,” Mr Hart said.

The Join the Drive crew will be at John Laws Park, Goodwin Terrace from 2:00pm until 4:00pm today, 12 November 2013.

“Road safety is an important issue to all of us and I am happy to welcome the team to Burleigh,” he said.

“If residents want to join in but cannot make it this afternoon, I encourage them to use the hashtag #jointhedrive on social media to spread the message.”

 Messages provided by the community will appear on television, radio and online from 15 December 2013.
