QUESTION:
Will the Minister detail the present 2020-21 and future funding allocation and plan to
tackle noxious weeds, in particular Asparagus Fern, within the Burleigh Heads
National Park?

ANSWER:
I thank the Member for the question.
For 2020–21 financial year, $10,000 has been allocated to weed management
activities within Burleigh Head National Park. Asparagus fern is targeted in these
activities.
Funding allocations are reviewed annually. Forward weed control allocations are yet
to be determined.
